In the same way it does every year, Sony has announced the most FIFA 23 Coins -downloaded games on the PlayStation Store for September 2022. These lists showcase the most played FIFA 23 Coins PS4, PS5, PS VR and free-toplay games of the month , both for North America and Europe, and there aren't many surprises coming up this month.
Beginning by playing PS5 Games, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game on PSN this month in North America, while FIFA 23 was the most popular video game on the PSN in Europe (which is no surprise considering the high popularity of football is in the region). Another game released in September, The Last of Us Part 1 is ranked as third in both regions.
Switching to PS4, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game in the month, in both the US and Canada While FIFA 23 took the top spot in Europe. In terms of PSVR titles, Beat Saber was the No. top game both in North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR placed second and third respectively in both regions.
In terms of free-to-play games, covering PS5 and PS4 all together, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada, while Rumbleverse was the most popular free-to-play game across Europe.

Sony has plans to be ambitious for its next generation of hardware for virtual reality in that it hopes for 2 million devices of its PSVR 2 headset ready by the end of March in 2019.
Mass production of the virtual reality headset is said to have started in September (via Bloomberg) and has so far not faced shortages in the supply chain. With the PS5 still in high demand due to its limited availability when it was launched in November of 2020, Sony also plans to have more console stock on shelves by the time 2023 arrives, according to Bloomberg's sources.
PSVR 2 is yet to get a release date past 2023, however Sony attempts to ensure that it has sufficient stock of PS5 consoles that can play games with the new headset. It will work on PS5 and won't be compatible with backwards-compatible PSVR games.
